Rock Climbing is a great challenge. Ascending near vertical rock faces with your hands and the rubber of your shoes, protected by rope and harness. It’s challenging and exhilarating but at the same time very satisfying.
Your abilities will quickly improve and you will be climbing routes you wouldn’t have been able to at the start of the session.
Our regular venues are listed below, but we also climb near Ingleton and in the Langdale Valley.
This site looks like nothing from the carpark, but as you approach it an impressive slab of rock appears through the trees. As you climb up the rock, the view opens up to show the vast seascape of Morcamebe Bay.
The climbing here is challenging but friendly and a great place to get the feel for climbing, on real rock. It is also possible to do climbing and abseiling combined from this venue more...

The site of our Mega Abseil involves a 100ft descent into the abandoned quarry and then exiting by a pitch black tunnel.
We also have a smaller abseil in the same spot which can be accessed through abandoned tunnels.
Mega Abseiling takes 3 hours and has a over 16 age limit. Abseiling (Cathedral) take 2 hours and is suitable for families.
Climbing and Abseiling together is a great option for a longer experience.
Both activites are based from the same location, which means maximum time outdoors having fun. Doing the two sessions together adds about an extra hour to the session and gives you a chance to get to grips moving confidently on the rock.
We all LIVE, WORK & PLAY in the Lake District, so speaking to us you will get the local knowledge
