Abseiling is a great way to have an adventure without a huge amount of skill or fitness needed.
Its easy to get competent at and you get a bit of a rush as you first go over the edge.
There are a range of variations from a huge Mega-Abseil, to Aqua-seiling, where we abseil waterfalls and combine this with rock climbing for a mixed experience.

This site is in an old slate quarry just outside of Coniston. There is the ability to also go Rock Climbing here as well, so a 3 hour session is an option.
Abseiling only takes 2 hours and is suitable for families.
Rock climbing and Abseiling takes 3 hours, the climbing is quite hard for very young people.

Abseiling (Cathedral) take 2 hours and is suitable for families
Chuch Beck runs through Coniston Village and is the site we use for Aqua-seiling. This involves descending some spectacular waterfalls in style. Abseiling through clear flowing cascades is not for the timid. Wetsuits provided.

Lindale Slabs is a natural rock face which looks over the Morecambe Bay (from the top). It is best as a climbing and abseiling site. Lindale is minutes away from our Seacliff Traverse and Archery site - combine activities into a full day for an even better value package
Tilberthwaite is near to Coniston and is the venue that we can use for Ghyll Scrambling and Abseiling.
