They are a great bit of activity kit because you can have so many different experiences.
Feeling a bit nervous of the water, we can fix two canoes together for a stable vessle, that can travel almost anywhere, with no risk of capsizing,
Feeling more adventurous, you can canoe without stablisers and take the risk of capsizing.
Really up for it, spend a weekend training and then finish with a white water descent.
Canoes can carry great ammounts of kit so are ideal for a buschraft expeditions, so that you can paddle to a remote venue and set up camp before cooking lunch over a fire.
Canoes stablised on each other make for a relaxing exploration of the lake.
For the braver adventurer where capsizing is a possiblity. Doubles takes a bit of getting a hang of but they are great fun.
